FITTING INSTRUCTIONS.

 

                     Delivery of any item is 7 Business days 

FULL SIZE EUROPEAN NUMBER PLATE COVERS INSTALLATION GUIDE (520mm x 112mm) (BACKING PLATE OPTIONAL) 

Front of Vehicle:

  1. If there are no holes in the number plate, drill 2 holes at the top of the number plate (210mm apart and 10mm from the top edge – see picture below) using a 6mm drill bit.
  2. With the number plate centred on vehicle’s plate holder mount, mark where to drill using the 2 holes.
  3. Remove the number plate and drill the marked points on the vehicle’s plate holder mount with a 2mm drill bit.
  4. Insert the number plate into the cover and mark where to drill using the 2 corner holes in the cover.
  5. Remove the number plate and drill the number plate at the marked points with a 6mm drill bit.
  6. Now secure the number plate on the vehicle’s plate holder mount using 2 long screws and 2 spacers in between the mount and the number plate.
  7. Place 2 plastic anchors in the 2 corner holes on the number plate.
  8. Slide the cover over the number plate starting from the bottom.
  9. Secure the cover over the number plate using 2 short screws at the 2 corner holes.

PLEASE DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THE SCREWS.

Rear of Vehicle:

  1. Place the backing plate (if applicable) in the centre of predrilled holes on vehicle.
  2. Secure the backing plate (if applicable) using a minimum of 2 spacers and 2 appropriate screws (M5 or M6).
  3. Insert the number plate into the cover and mark where to drill using the 2 corner holes in the cover.
  4. Remove the number plate and drill the number plate at the marked points with 6mm drill bit.
  5. Insert the number plate back into the cover.
  6. Mount the cover and number plate (if applicable) onto the backing plate.
  7. Secure the number plate and the cover to the backing plate with 2 short screws at the 2 corner holes.

NEW SOUTH WALES NUMBER PLATE FRAMES INSTALLATION GUIDE (372mm x 84mm)(Front) and (372mm x 107mm)(Rear)

Front of Vehicle:

1. With the number plate cantered on the vehicle’s plate holder mount, mark where to drill using the 2 middle holes from the number plate.
2. Remove the number plate and drill the marked points with a 2mm drill bit.
3. Secure the number plate using 2 long screws and 2 spacers in between the vehicle’s plate holder mount and the number plate.
4. Insert 2 plastic anchors in the 2 corner holes at the top of the number plate.
5. Slide the number plate into the cover starting from the bottom.
6. Secure the number plate and cover on the vehicle’s plate holder mount using 2 short screws at the 2 top corner holes.

PLEASE DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THE SCREWS.

Rear of Vehicle:

1. Place backing plate (if applicable) in the centre of predrilled holes on the vehicle.
2. Secure the backing plate (if applicable) on the vehicle using a minimum of 2 spacers and
2 appropriate screws (M5 or M6).
3. Insert the number plate into the cover starting from the bottom.
4. Mount the number plate and cover onto the backing plate (if applicable).
5. Secure the number plate and the cover to the backing plate (if applicable) using 2 short screws at the 2 corner holes.

NUMBER PLATE FRAMES INSTALLATION GUIDE FOR (100mm x 250mm) (100mm x 315mm) (100mm x 372) & (134mm x 372mm) (Backing plate optional) 

Front of Vehicle:

1. With the number plate cantered on the vehicle’s plate holder mount, mark where to drill using the 2 middle holes on the number plate.
2. Remove the number plate and drill the marked points with a 2mm drill bit.
3. Secure the number plate using 2 long screws and 2 spacers in between the vehicle’s plate holder mount and the number plate.
4. Place 4 plastic anchors in the 4 corner holes on the number plate.
5. Secure the cover over the number plate using 4 short screws at the 4 corner holes.

PLEASE DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THE SCREWS.

Rear of Vehicle:

1. Place the backing plate (if applicable) in the centre of the predrilled holes on the vehicle. 2. Secure the backing plate to the vehicle using a minimum of 2 spacers and 2 appropriate screws (M5 or M6).
3. Mount the number plate onto the backing plate (if applicable) and place the cover on top. 4. Secure the number plate and the cover with 4 short screws to the backing plate (if applicable) using the 4 corner holes in the backing platelet.

PLEASE DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THE SCREWS.

STANDARD & SLIMLINE PLATE SURROUND INSTALLATION GUIDE

Front of Vehicle:

  1. With the number plate centred on the vehicle’s plate holder mount, mark where to drill using the 2 middle holes from the number plate.
  2. Remove the number plate and drill the marked points with a 2mm drill bit.
  3. Insert the number plate in the surround using the clips at the back to secure it.
  4. Mount the number plate and the surround on the vehicle’s plate holder mount using a minimum of 2 screws to secure properly.

Rear of Vehicle:

  • Place the number plate in the centre of pre-drilled holes on the vehicle.
  • If the pre-drilled holes on the number plate do not match the pre-drilled holes on the vehicle, mark where to drill on the number plate.
  • Drill the number plate with a 6 mm drill bit at the marked points.
  • Insert the number plate in the surround using the clips at the back to secure it.
  • Mount the number plate and the surround on the vehicle using a minimum of 2 screws to secure to the vehicle properly.
